Tile Calculation Formula

Tile Area = (Tile Length mm / 1000) × (Tile Width mm / 1000)
Net Tiles = Floor Area / Tile Area
Total = Net × (1 + Wastage/100)
5m × 4m floor, 600×600mm tiles, 5% wastage:
Tile Area = 0.6 × 0.6 = 0.36 m²
Net = 20 / 0.36 = 56 tiles
With 5% wastage = 59 tiles
